Nova Gas Technologies, Inc was founded in 1964 as Cryogenic Rare Gas Laboratories, Inc. to import, purify and resell the rare gases: Krypton, Neon, and Xenon.

With the advent of the excimer laser in the late 1970's, we developed capabilities to blend the rare gases with halogen gases for use in excimer lasers. The company moved to Charleston, South Carolina in 1986.

In order to emphasize our emergence as a major international supplier to the medical and semiconductor excimer laser markets, in 1995 we changed our name to Nova Gas Technologies.

With a significant increase in our export business, we built and moved into our new state of the art specialty gas facility in January of 2002.
